About Us
How it all started
This all started with our Director, Cindy Hagman's, vision. She has always wanted a choir to carry on the legacy from her direction at Lincoln High School. After the LHS choir went on a trip to Europe the summer of 2024, the idea of a legacy choir began to grow. That summer a group of alumni joined together to form the Legacy Community Choir as we know it.
Mission
The Legacy Community Choir paves the way for music to change and inspire those around us.
Vision
We strive to be a professional level choir that is known and valued throughout the Placer County area.
Values
Our values are...
Community
We are a family of singers. As a community choir, we are always building relationships in and outside of the group.
Excellence
We aspire for excellence in all that we do whether it be musical, organizational, or within building our relationships.
Unity
We believe music is something that unites us all. Music transcends our differences.
Passion
As a volunteer group, we love that our singers are passionate about music. It is the passion of our singers that drives this group towards excellence.
Inclusion
We value all of our singers. We believe in equal opportunity no matter your background, ethnicity, race, or gender.
Communication
We are open with our singers. We update our choir frequently about events, rehearsals, and any other pertinent information.
Learning
We are always striving to better ourselves and listen to our members' suggestions. We also provide a space for our members to learn and to grow.
